City
At the city's incorporation in 1964, a council-manager form of government was created. The City Council, which is elected by the citizens of Camarillo, adopts policies for the operation of the City government, and appoints the City Manager to administer those policies.
The five member city council is elected at large for four year terms. As of January 2009 the mayor of Camarillo is Don Waunch, who also served as mayor in 2004, and has been a Councilmember since 2000. To view the city of Camarillo website, click here.
