Economic Development Committee
Mission: To encourage a strong, healthy economy in the City of Camarillo and surrounding areas consistent with an excellent quality of life for the community in cooperation with the City government and other Camarillo Chamber committees. Whether the goal is attracting visitors, encouraging the growth of jobs or pointing the way for a growing university student body and faculty, the Economic Development Committee works proactively with the City to:
- Provide demographic information and referrals.
- Assist business relocation.
- Develop special programs to help new businesses become integrated into the community.
- Produce the annual Economic Outlook Luncheon and specially developed seminars and workshops to deal with important current issues.
- Produce economic analyses of Camarillo.
- Conduct annual Camarillo Business Survey.
- Manage a business retention and expansion program.

Business Advocacy Committee
Mission: Analyzes proposed business and community-related federal, state and local legislation and makes recommendations to the Chamber Board of Directors. The Business Advocacy Committee’s duties include:
- Help determine Chamber policy on issues important to business.
- Be involved with planning and implementing issue-oriented programs and events.
- Meet, work with, and learn from business colleagues, government and education professionals.
- Hosts the annual Business & Legislators Forum, the State of The City Luncheon, and other Legislative Series events.
- Coordinates annual Sacramento Legislative Day trip.

Chamber Ambassadors
Mission: To encourage business and community connections between members. Serve as the public relations arm of the Chamber. Participate at mixers, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and special events. Plans breakfast networking events.
Meetings: 2nd Thursday of each month, 12:00 noon

Top Ten Committee
Mission: Plan and coordinate the annual community awards program that recognizes organizations and individuals whose deeds and actions have contributed to the betterment of Camarillo.

Education Committee
Mission: To connect the business community with K-12 education in the Camarillo Area. Committee plans the Educator of the Month awards program.
Meetings: 2nd Tuesday of the month at 9:00 a.m.

Visitor Services Committee (Tourism)
Mission: To develop and accomplish an annual Tourism Marketing Plan to increase revenue to Camarillo area businesses. Committee will strive to enhance co-op partnerships with organizations that can influence business and tourism development and will work to bring the Camarillo tourism community together as a cohesive working group.

Old Town Association Committee
Mission: The Old Town Association is concerned with promotions and development of the historic downtown area of Camarillo. Old Town encompasses Ventura Blvd. from Lewis Rd. to Carmen Dr. and the adjoining streets.

CSUSI Connection Committee
Mission: To facilitate interaction of the community with California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) in its growth, evolution, and developing role in the community. Goals for this group include:
- Making connection with the administration, faculty and students of CSUCI.
- Providing CSUCI with available resources to connect the University to the business community and beyond.
- Assisting with the evolvement of programs and events.
- Acting as a clearinghouse for programs of work to avoid duplication.
- Plans and oversees the annual CSUCI Connection Luncheon.

Business @ Breakfast Committee
Mission: To plan and oversee the monthly Business @ Breakfast program, help obtain speakers, sponsors and other participants, advise on marketing issues.

Camarillo Young Professionals Group
Mission: To provide young professionals, ages 21-40, a platform to build enduring personal and business relationships through social networking, professional development, and supporting the mission of the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce. Programs include monthly YPG mixers, Quarterly Lunch with a Purpose (members meet with successful business leaders), and other career development programs.
