Economic Development is one of the five areas of business of the Camarillo Chamber. All Chamber activities are directed toward "promoting and enhancing a positive environment for business and community."
Monthly Economic Forum
Monthly communications meetings help disseminate information to the membership and the community. The forums feature presentations from City and regional officials and roundtables of committee members. (The Economic Development Committee meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month, 8:00 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce Office).
Economic Outlook
Annual Economic Outlook event focusing on the economic results and forecasts of Camarillo by leading regional economists.
Economic Profile
An extensive profile of the Camarillo economy and forecast is presented at the Economic Outlook event and distributed by the Chamber year round. Co-sponsored by the City of Camarillo.
Key Business Needs
The Economic Development Committee Identifies and monitors key areas of importance to Camarillo and the region’s economic viability. An annual “business needs” survey is done and published. Task forces investigate areas of interest and concern and they make recommendations to the committee and Chamber Board.

Chamber works with City Council and staff on cooperative economic efforts including recruitment of new business to the community and retention and expansion of existing business.
Business to Business trade show
An annual trade show helps business expose their products and services and identify potential customers.
