World War II Aviation Museum and Commemorative Air Forcce
At Camarillo Airport south of Highway 101 & Los Posas Road. Welcome back to 1942. Talk to the pilots and crew who were “over there”. WWII history comes alive with renovated vintage aircraft such as a C-46, a C-131, a Japanese Zero, plus historical displays, interactive exhibits, aviation art and a research library.

Camarillo Ranch House
Built in 1892 and the longtime residence of Adolfo Camarillo and his family, Camarillo Ranch House has been renovated to preserve the property as a cultural, educational and event center. The most notable structure on the Ranch is the large, white Victorian Camarillo House. The 4 1/2 acre Ranch also includes a large red barn, a stable and tack room. The Ranch is open for guided tours and is available for events such as weddings, private tours, parties, and film shoots. Call ahead for visitation hours.

Pleasant Valley Historical Society & Museum
The Pleasant Valley Historical Society & Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the history of Pleasant Valley, the Oxnard Plain and adjacent areas where many of Camarillo’s pioneers settled before there was a City of Camarillo. Admission is free.

Pleasant Valley Botanical Garden, associated with the Historical Museum at the same location, is a beautiful park-like area that features plants and trees indigenous to the Pleasant Valley and the surrounding region. The garden includes a large gazebo that is available for rental as a breathtaking setting for weddings, anniversaries and similar functions. Kitchen facilities are available.

St Mary Magdalen Historic Chapel
On East Ventura Boulevard, just off Highway 101. The St. Mary Magdalen Chapel has been Camarillo’s best-known landmark since Juan Camarillo completed it in 1914.

Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology
On Calle San Pablo, off of Pleasant Valley Rd. between Lewis rd. and the railroad tracks. The Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology has been located in Camarillo since 1992.
