What is a Chamber Ambassador And What Does It Mean?

The Camarillo Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are a part of a prestigious group that acts as the welcoming arm of the Chamber and are the force behind our Ribbon Cuttings, Networking and other chamber sponsored events. Chamber Ambassadors encourage business and community connections between members.

Not only are they there to welcome new and existing members, Ambassadors also assist in acquainting members to each other so that new business opportunities may occur.

Active participation by Chamber Ambassadors helps to improve communications within the business community, which in turn strengthens the image of the Chamber. Chamber Ambassadors build their own business by helping others.

What Do Ambassadors Do?

Attend Events and help make other members feel welcome and comfortable.

Some events Ambassadors attend include After Hours Mixers, Business@Breakfast, Ribbon Cuttings, and Quarterly Luncheons.

New Member Contact

Distribute new member plaques and directories as assigned at the monthly meeting. Call new member to welcome them, invite them to upcoming events and answer any questions they may have. Supply them with your card as a Chamber contact.
