Welcome to the Camarillo Chamber Business Development Board. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with high-level CEO’s in our community. You may ask them business-related questions that you feel would be helpful in accomplishing your overall business goals.

To participate, you must be a member of the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce.

Below is our list of CEO’s that will be responding to your questions.

Darren Lee, St. John’s Hospitals

Darren Lee is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Dignity Health St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital (SJPVH) in Camarillo and St. John’s Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) in Oxnard, members of the Dignity Health Central Coast Service Area.

Mohan Maheswaran, Semtech

Mohan Maheswaran is President and Chief Executive Officer of Semtech Corporation, an international supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products headquartered in Camarillo, California.

Chris Meissner, Meissner Filtration Products

Established in 1989 and located in Camarillo, Meissner Filtration Products, Inc. develops, manufactures, supplies and services advanced microfiltration products and single-use systems worldwide primarily used in bioprocessing and drug manufacturing.

Daniel Schoenewald, Advanced Motion Controls

Daniel Schoenewald is a co-founder and the Executive Vice President of Advanced Motion Controls, a leader in high performance Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) servo amplifiers. He also co-founded Empire Consortium, a string of highly successful night clubs in Texas and Nevada.

Dr. Ross E. Dueber, ZPower

Dr. Ross E. Bueber is a leading international authority on battery technology. As President and CEO of ZPower, he has led the company in pioneering the development of silver-zinc battery chemistry for microbattery applications. His success in commercializing silver-zing, rechargeable battery technology is enabling the industry to achieve unprecedented new levels of battery performance, safety and environmental-friendliness.

Michael Powers, Ventura County Government

Michael Powers became the County Executive Officer for Ventura County in April of 2011. He oversees a budget of $1.9 billion and nearly 9,000 employees in 27 agencies and departments. He is responsible for overseeing and supporting all of the major functions and services in the county including budget, finance, legislation, human resources, labor relations, economic development and information technology.

Dave Nichols, Opolo Vineyards

David Nichols is founder and president of Applied Wireless Inc. Founded in 1999, the company designs and manufactures RF products, including wireless audio, wireless video and remote control products for commercial and industrial applications. David is also co-owner of Opolo Wines in Paso Robles. His interest in agriculture brought him to begin growing 80 acres of wine-grapes in 1997 and then co-founding Opolo Wines in 1999. Previous to these, in 1981 he co-founded California Amplifier and took it public in 1983. California Amplifier then manufactured microwave products including satellite dish amplifiers and radar related microwave assemblies.
